Which player has surprised you the most this season (so far)?

After all the craziness of yesterday, let's focus on some positives? 😝 Which Valkyries player has surprised you the most this season thus far? Maybe someone you didn't expect to have as big a role as they've had? Or perform as highly as they have?

For me, it's Kate Martin and Kayla Thorton. Kayla has always been a dog, but I did NOT expect her to score as much as she's been scoring. Averaging 15 points a game? Incredible. And Kate has been SO tough off the bench and has found countless ways to contribute. We saw flashes when she was in Vegas, but the last few games she's literally played at a "6th Player of the Year" level.
