Pacific Power

I spent since February waiting for Pacific Power to come do a meter swap on my house. Evidently PGE just tags it and lets the contractor put in the box wherever they need it to be. But Pacific Power has to have exactly the right spot and determines where your meter box will go on your house. So on top of moving my power meter beyond my fence line they spent since February Trying to figure out a time to get me on the schedule. I was calling on a weekly basis trying to reach anyone and every time I called I was assured that my claim was being escalated to a manager who would reach back out to me. This never happened. I spent several months both myself and my contractor attempting to reach someone who could give us a timeline for when this would occur. Every time we reached out it was always a couple of weeks. At one point they said oh well. When we first talked to you we said 6 weeks when they told me that it was then going to be another 2 weeks from when they first said 6 weeks. It took me tagging 16 local news stations for ABC, NBC, CBS and fox in Seattle, Portland, Sacramento and San Francisco at which point their public relations, social media person tried to talk to me into using their forms that I have been using this whole time. At which point I told them I would be talking to anyone who would listen and proceeded to tag Ryan Reynolds and John Cena. Oddly enough, despite not filling out the form that they requested. My contractor received a call when they got the call. They also scheduled two more people for meter swaps because Pacific Power had not scheduled those and it occurs to me that I might not be the only one they're doing this to. I'm just the loudest and most obnoxious.
