People hate being judged more than anything else.

Some guy will be acting like a complete asshat. Just a real dick, let's say being toxic to a server in a restaurant or something. But if you call them out on it they'll get all offended.

Or someone will be saying some racist shit, and you call them out on it, and they'll get all offended that you called them a racist.

Like, just own it. You don't get to be a downright prick only to get offended when someone calls you a prick. Just say yup I am.
