Opening to a new story I'm writing

Hi I'm Lewis and I've recently gotten back into writing stories and wanting to try a whole new story rather than adding to my old ones any advice and feedback on this opening would be greatly appreciated thank you

It was a wonderful day, birds were chirping, the sun creeping over the high rises and the backdrop of the mountains and the feint noise of cars passing in the uniformed morning rush.

Ring Ring

"Hmm time to get up" Isla said grabbing her phone to turn off the alarm.

"Best get up and get ready first day at my new job, hopefully better than my last one" looking in the mirror trying to get herself pumped for the day. The apartment that Isla called home wasn't very big the bed was also the sofa and her kitchen side was a table but it did for a 20 year old and was a home to her. Isla was a self isolated 20 year old not having many friends and not going out much but it's how she likes it she prefers to be on her own rather than being lost in a group of people that she doesn't fully know. But the friends she does have are close Amy and Lyra were her two closest.

But there was one thing that even her closest friends didn't know about her even Isla didn't know it but just had a feeling. She was constantly being watched.
