Need Help ASAP

So for context, I live in Germany and I just finished 10th grade (E-phase). So my school is a special one, where Latin is a mandatory subject from grade 5 - 10 and after that it's optional. I've never been good at Latin, always barely passing every single year. This year was different though, because there's this thing called a Latinum, which one gets after completing Latin up to a certain level, a type of certificate if you say so. To get it in my school, you'll need to pass the 10th grade and not underscore in Latin. So that's where the problem starts. I did pass 10th, but I unfortunately underscored in Latin, meaning that I won't get the Latinum. I do have a choice though, continue Latin for an extra school year to get my Latinum or continue without it and get no Latinum at the end. But like I mentioned before, my Latin skills are very bad and it could have a negative effect on my Abitur (The last exams basically before completing the school. It's the last two grades, for me it's the 11th and 12th. In it they'll count all of the grades from both years.).

So I really need advice, is it worth pursuing the Latinum?

I need to make a decision ASAP because I'll have to write my school about wanting to continue it and I also want other opinions on it, maybe even from people having experienced the same.
