What do you do on your ex’s birthday?

It’s your birthday. The first one we’ve experienced apart in 4 years. All I’ve ever known is how to celebrate you. No matter the day, really. It’s such an out of body feeling.. to not cheer at all, when I was once on the team. Now I’m in the nosebleeds. Out of sight, out of mind. Still screaming for you, though in a different pitch. But you can’t hear my cries from up here, either.
