Sept 6/7 or Sept 13/14?

Hi! We are taking advantage of the Costco deal to go for a weekend during Halloweentime and a Saturday in early December.

We had booked 9/6-7 because my daughter is obsessed with Jack Skellington and we wanted to meet him and there was no Boogie’s bash to get around. I was all set with the dates until I tried to book a hotel and could only find Sat to Sunday, with Friday booked up for most basic rooms at the hotels we were fond of using. When I looked into it, I saw that weekend is the Disneyland Marathon weekend, which is basically events early AM Thursday- Sunday.

Since my husband starts a new job, we can’t take weekdays off so weekends it is. I decided the following weekend would be better, but now I see 9/14 is a Boogie bash day, so DCA will close early. We have park hoppers but intend to see Paint the Night both evenings so I feel DL will get packed with the guests leaving. That said, hotels are open that 9/13-14 weekend so that’s a bonus.

What would you do?
