Boyfriend (25M) left me locked outside

Hi everyone I’ve (25F) been staying with my boyfriend (25M) for the past couple of weeks and will be for another few weeks. It’s only temporary (6 weeks) as I’m doing it to save cost and time on commute. He only has one set of keys so I typically take them on days I’ll be home before him and vice versa. Today he texted saying his manager / boss wanted to go for a drink after work. He said he was going to go for one and meet me back at home. I was fine with it because I don’t mind waiting outside for a little. Then one drink turned into many and he left me waiting for him for 2.5+ hours. When I got upset he told me he doesn’t want to come home to fight and didn’t care I had been waiting for so long. How long is an appropriate time to wait in this situation before getting upset?
