Just finished a new horror short — would love your thoughts on the premise

Discussion

Hey everyone! I'm working on a psychological horror series called Nightbound, with standalone stories loosely connected by theme and tone.

The newest one I wrote is about a man who starts hearing whispers and movement behind his apartment walls. As days go by, the sounds get clearer… and what’s hiding behind the walls might be more than just in his head.

Do you enjoy stories where horror builds slowly through paranoia? Or do you prefer more direct, visible threats?
