Lost cat - move her house?

We recently took on an outdoor cat that had to be rehomed and were only 3 days into the resettling/transition process when she got out. She came with a shelter she had for at least a year and a cat bed/litter box she had been using for a few days. We had her near the side of our house and think she crossed the yard to leave through our gate. We are completely distraught over the entire situation and have been walking the neighborhood looking for her.

We set a trap last night and caught another stray but will try that method again. My question is, should I move her house and bed to a more easily accessible location? Or is it better for it to stay exactly where it was the last time she was here?
