Hey all,

I recently started using the Amazfit Helio Strap, mainly to track daily walks with my dog, some light bodyweight training at home (recovering from a hernia, so no weights yet) and tracking overall health metrics.

Example:
This morning, I manually started a workout on the watch — everything tracked fine. But then I noticed that Zepp’s AI also created a second workout log around the same time, seemingly for the same activity.

Now I’m left with two logs:
	•	One I started manually (with full tracking, heart rate from the strap, etc.)
	•	One created automatically by the AI (with a generic label and similar HR data)

I’m a bit confused and wondering:
	1.	Is there any real benefit to using the AI detection if I would track my walks/workouts manually?
	2.	Do any of you keep the AI detection on, or is it better to disable it to avoid clutter and double counting, as it seems to double count the calories now??
	3.	Is the AI log adding anything useful (like training load, recovery, etc.) that the manual one doesn’t?

Right now it feels very confusing, but maybe I’m missing something.

Curious to hear how others are using the Helio Strap + Zepp AI for more casual fitness routines like walking and bodyweight stuff.

Thanks!
