WA State - Getting Drivers License Reinstated

Hi r/legaladvice,
I'm looking for advice on getting my driver’s license reinstated in [Your State]. I had 3 DUIs over about 5 years, with the last one in 2017. Since then, I’ve gotten sober and stayed out of legal trouble.

I’m now trying to get my license back, but there’s a 7+ year Ignition Interlock Device (IID) requirement. I believed that if I didn’t drive during that period, the requirement would expire but apparently, it doesn’t.

I haven’t started the reinstatement process yet and haven’t spoken to a lawyer or the DMV. Is there any way to get the IID requirement waived or reduced?
