AITA for having an argument about the car

My wife and I have two cars, one has expired tags because of some overdue tickets. She insists on driving it and leaves me the “street legal” car in case I need it during the day. Her rationale is that the car will sit in the parking garage at her work all day so it doesn’t make sense to use the legal car for work. I worry about her getting pulled over, having the car towed, impounded, etc, and then we’re paying for the overdue tickets to be able to drive it off the lot

I actually feel like the asshole and that I’m overreacting. Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts
