QRP POTA Activators, SSB vs CW

I have a question for QRP POTA activators:

How often do you use SSB versus CW when activating? I'd like to eventually get either a KX2 or KH1 to be able to do pedestrian mobile CW POTA activations with something like the AX1/2. Right now I'm trying to decide if having SSB on a QRP rig is worth the extra cost of the KX2 over the KH1. QRP CW is tough enough, QRP SSB seems impossible. Any thoughts from anyone who does QRP SSB and QRP CW activations?
