Is the economy finally fixed now? Discussing a potential economy overhaul.
Returning player here: Over the years, I have probably made a handful of new saves where I'd play for about 10-20h and would then lose interest because my primary motivation ran out.
For me, I always want to get rich, get a freighter, awesome ship, and maxed out jetback.
To do so, I would engage in a variety of cool experiences; building infrastructure for mining, extensive base building, flipping undug artifcats from exploration, do cool stuff on weird planets.
To do so, I would always optimize the fun out of a game; just crash the economy in and abuse the system to have more money after a few hours than I can make use off and all my motivation would evaporate.
I know this is sort of a me problem, but I would so love to engage with all the games systems but that only works for me in a sandbox game with an emphasis on survival, where many elements are artifically withheld to me and I got to find ways to get by in some sort of dangerous galaxy.
What's important to me is not necessarilly more content, like that outpost building addons with employees and so on, but game mechanics that incentivize me to engage with them.
So at the end of the day, my question is, whether or not they made such an improvement in the last year, where I did not play, whether such an uipdate is in the works and I just gotta hold off for a few months, or whether there are well-rounded and stable mods that can do this.
