How Can Finsubs Stay Safe and Still Submit Fully in FinDom
I think many subs (if not most) share the same concern of 'how do I know I’m not being scammed' when approaching a new Domme. It makes sense. The fear of sending money and ending up ghosted (or worse disrespected) is valid! So here’s how I look at it as someone who’s been doing this for a while and believes in long-term & mutually satisfying dynamics. Consider the following a list of useful tips, but always take full responsibility of your choices.
First, take your time when finding a Domme. Don’t rush to send money just because someone called you a 'finsub' or 'paypig' in your DMs. And look at how they present themselves. Do they speak with consistency ? Is the tone natural or does it feel more like a copy-paste sales pitch? A real Domme doesn’t just post "Pay Me!" and then disappears. You should be able to sense that she enjoys what she does. Not just tolerates it for quick cash.
Now about tributes : yes many Dommes ask for an upfront payment. (although I'm not one of them; more on that in future posts). That’s normal and not necessarily/automatically a red flag. If anything, it just weeds out timewasters. But that tribute should come with clarity: what you're getting/when/how. Whether it’s a call, a task session, or a piece of content, you’re allowed to ask questions before paying. That’s not being difficult, that’s being respectful to both sides. If she avoids giving clear answers or suddenly raises the price after you’ve already paid, is it even worth it atp?
Another thing that doesn’t get mentioned enough: age verification. If a Domme refuses to verify her age in any way, you should not be sending money. On the other side, a Domme has every right to verify you, especially if you’re requesting full financial control, intense tasks, or anything explicit. A responsible Domme will care about that.
Sometimes finsubs ask if Dommes will accept payments during a call or after a task is completed. You can absolutely ask if that dynamic is possible. Maybe some Dommes enjoy that kind of structure. But don’t expect every Domme to agree. It’s about finding someone who matches your style and being honest about what you're comfortable with. Don’t try to force a Domme into your 'rules'. Present your interest respectfully, and if it’s not a fit move on.
And if you’re fantasizing about giving full control of your money, remember that kind of dynamic is earned. No ethical Domme jumps into total financial control on Day 1 (I'd strongly consider that a red flag). That level of power exchange only works when it’s built slowly and with trust on both sides. If someone demands that much control from the start and gets angry when you hesitate or ask questions, that’s not power, that’s manipulation.
You can still have a powerful, submissive and financially charged dynamic. You can still be controlled, owned, and drained. But none of that should come at the expense of your common sense. Being a finsub/paypig doesn’t mean being careless. Know your limits, communicate clearly, and only surrender to someone who respects the weight of that surrender.
That's all for now.
