Question on Vyvanse Rx

Hi! I received a BED diagnosis a couple years ago, and was in consistent psychotherapy that helped a little but I was still struggling. I had been open with my therapist that I believed the BED is caused partially by undiagnosed ADHD.

After a referral from my therapist, I met with an NP who prescribed me Vyvanse under the BED diagnosis. It has helped immensely, but now I am nervous about having to go off of it anytime soon. Is there a limit for how long we can be on Vyvanse with BED? Should I look into getting tested for ADHD to allow for long term medication use?
