Joel season 2 theory

So I was thinking about season 2 and thought about how as the season goes on Jimmy is seen more and more as a toy while Hermes in comparison is seen more and more as a person, considering Joel is a major influence in both of them I made this theory to try to explain everything

So what if Joel isn’t able to create life directly because he doesn’t have the same powers of stronger gods, so when he wanted to raise a kid with sausage he was forced to make Hermes by draining the “ humanness “ from someone else and he chose Jimmy, and maybe it was only permanent if other people also believe he is a toy too

This theory makes Joel more justified because even though it’s still wrong he is doing it for his family and not just to mess with Jimmy . Also it’s interesting that Hermes has primarily dark blonde hair, the same hair color as jimmy ( in his skin at least)
