The more awake/spiritual I become the more I lose interest

It could be the detachment, which is one of the goals yet I am still not detached from my emotions and my daily life. Yet I lose interest in politics, the normal/commercial side of internet and other media. I lose interest in entertainment, which prompted me to write this. I no longer easily immerse myself in the stories, the movies, novels or anime plots. They don’t seem interesting no more and I just recognize the patterns in them and the message underlying. I keep watching and reading and it becomes less and less important.
