How do I convert MOI/MOD files so I can see them/download?

I own a Panasonic SDR-H18, and when i put my sd card through the card reader, the files are MOD and MOI and I am unable to view them. I tried many apps on my mac but they do not take MOI, only MOD. does anyone know how I can convert them, like into mp4 files and such? Thanks.
