P365 sear spring

So during reassembly I can’t seem to get the sear spring short leg to catch and stay on the shelf inside the fcu. I see sig guy posted a video a while back (8 months or so ago) and says something a bit different than his original video. Does the sear spring need to find that shelf or can it sit on the pin that runs through the bottom hole?
