Quest 3s For Windows 11 desktop.

Discussion

I have a PC desktop that I've been using for various projects for several years, and I have gotten tired of being stuck in front of it all the time. So I've been thinking about using a virtual monitor system for a while. I bought a Meta Quest 3s a couple of weeks ago and have been familiarizing myself with it. Recently I learned to use Meta Link to link to my desktop, both as Air Link, and wired link. My local WiFi is about 200Mhz, which seems to work fine, although the USB connection seems slightly better. Just today, I learned to get all three of my hardware screens running on the headset, and even with all three screens up, I don't see significant hesitation. They're all 2K, which is fine for what I'm working on.

The resolution of the Quest is not quite as good as the actual monitor, but going from 22" monitors to 55" virtual screens hideth many sins.

My problem now is getting an AR cutout so I can use a RL keyboard. I don't want to leave my mechanical keyboard behind. I also use a mouse, but I can do that blindly, although substituting hand controls might be a little more convenient.

Any suggestions on the cutout?
