Do you take all your food when you travel? It’s so much harder to be out of the house.

We are going out of town for a few days, and I have to pack so many things. My MCAS is secondary to ME/CFS and I have several other comorbidities. I travel with a giant bag of meds, very specific clothes, all my specific hygiene products, need to bring my own blankets and pillows, and all the food I’m going to eat while there (4-5 small meals per day).

Luckily I have a supportive partner, but it is so exhausting and complicated to go anywhere. I had to make a list of every meal and snack I would eat and buy all the food here. Going to a smaller town that does have a grocery store, but don’t trust that it will meet all my dietary restrictions. I freeze a lot of things, so need to bring a cooler and keep everything cold.

Are we all bringing all our food every time we leave for a few days? Or do most of us just give up on traveling?
