Last effort...

Has anyone been on a marriage retreat, religious or non religious? What was your experience?

We've been married for 10 years. I've communicated my wants and needs repeatedly, we have been to counseling, I've threatened and lastly, I've asked if I could build a separate house on our property. I thought the separate living would be the perfect solution. We could still co-parent and our child would still have the family home where I could spend most of my time. I did separate from him for over a year but I moved back in because our child was suffering. Our child has special needs and we know that our being together as a family is what he needs. I have accepted this.
