Ragging is disgusting

I don't understand why tf does it even happens in this day and age? how morally deprived do you have to be to act like a playground bully in college at your big age and glorifying it as "intro", it's scary to think these people will be doctors one day. empathy is crucial for working with humans and yet these bumass seniors degrade their juniors and take pleasure in it. forget about state gmcs, I recently came across a yt video of a girl talking about ragging in AIIMS DELHI wtf is wrong with these people and she was glorifying it too, acting like it was something honourable (channel name - Dr Rashmi Sharma, attaching the link of the video here - https://youtu.be/AnCZfC9PFT8?feature=shared)

Most medicos on Reddit are against ragging but these med influencers on insta and yt re hell bent on glorifying being a slave and punching bag for their sadistic seniors, it's abhorrent and strips people of their dignity, makes them pliant and obidient sheeps who accept abuse.
