A work lost years ago

I am in need of help. There’s an ao3 M/M story, original work, where there’s a strange universe where some population accumulate eggs in their belly and needs another type of people to impregnate, so the eggs can be transferred into that other type, who can bear eggs more easily. It’s separated into different works, sorry I can’t remember the characters’ names, but I recall in the first story one of the characters was close to dying because there’s too many eggs that can’t get out, and his lover saved him. The rest of the stories seem to focus on their relationship, most of which is fluff. I keep using different tags to try to find it but no results. Can anyone tell me the name / author of the story? Or is it deleted?
