Character Scramble XX Workshop

Vanguard: Monkey D Luffy (Enies Lobby) Infiltrator: Yusuke Urameshi (pre-Toguro Dark Tournament) Sentinel: Yixuan (scaling to Hoshimi Miyabi RT provided)

Name: Monkey D Luffy Series: One Piece (manga/anime, up to and including Enies Lobby arc) Class Role: Vanguard Content Warning: Nothing super bad up to this point in the story other than violence (which if you are bothered by this why are you battleboarding) Biography: Ever since Luffy was a young boy he wanted to be the King of Pirates, the moment he got the chance he literally went for it with literally no plan at all. Straightforward, honest, more than a little dense and definitely an appetite for meat, he just wants to become the King of Pirates and will beat up anyone who tries to stop him or hurt his friends. Research: Here is Luffy's most recent RT, courtesy of InverseFlash! While researching his character certainly seems intimidating, he's literally the same guy throughout all of the series even to now even after personal growth, so reading through any arc should be good enough. I highly would recommend specifically the Water Seven arc since it is where his high-end feats for the purpose of this submission lie and is a strong display of how far he will go to uphold his ideals. Justification: Luffy is unbelivably hardy and can take just as much as he can deal, being tossed through walls by enemies able to punch holes straight through entire buildings or galleons and return it right back. He already can dodge bullets and cannonballs with ease, and with Gear Two he becomes almost impossible to track even by people of that same caliber. The tier setting version of Cloud is tough but not the worst thing he has fought by Enies Lobby's standards, so he has a Likely Victory by my gauge. Motivation: He wants to become the King of Pirates. Admittedly going to space is not immediately conducive to that goal, but he gets to see new and cool things and one of his past villains even went to the Moon! There has to be something cool to eat in the Citadel, surely. Major Changes: None Minor Changes: None
