Questions/intro!

Hi I'm Basil! I tried posting this on r/Therian but it wouldn't let me. I have a few questions. One, I am an otherlink, is that accepted in the therian community? I've seen some things online where people say we are fake and I want to make sure everyone here is ok with that! Also I am a storm dragon and otter otherlink and was hoping for some ideas to connect to my link-types because I have seen some things but I'm a bit confused. Thank you!
