Is there a way to test vintage kids lamps for lead?

I've had my eye on an adorable hot air balloon lamp for my daughter's room, but my mother (a 70s kid) warned me that it could possibly contain lead. I googled the item and company but there was no conclusive answer if that particular lamp is contaminated. Is there a way to know? Thank you
