Can I water hoya similar to my phal orchid?

First time hoya owner / long time orchid enthusiast. I currently have my hoya in 100% coarse orchid bark and an orchid pot (basic plastic with a lot of holes).

Question is can I dunk my Hoya in the rainwater + seaweed bowl I use for my orchid? For what I understand they have a similar habitat as orchids in that they grow on trees in the wild.
