How bad does a snakebite piercing hurt?

Im sorry if this is the wrong flair; it's my first time in this sub.

I want to get snakebites done and my boyfriend, a professional, told me she'd do them for almost free (i need to buy the rings, my bf bought a needle already). I just want to know what to expect before I go do it.

On a scale of one to ten how bad is the piercing, and how sore is it while it heals? Thank you!! (Also if you wear makeup, is it difficult to avoid getting lip makeup on your rings? Genuinely asking cuz i wear makeup)
