Heading to Jeju in late August — how bad is the heat + any activity recs?
Hey!
I'm planning a trip to Jeju Island at the end of August but I'm not sure how bad the weather will be.
I know Korean summers are super humid so I'm wondering if Jeju feels any better because it's by the ocean, or if it's just as intense.
I don’t mind some heat but I’d rather not feel like I’m melting every time I step outside.
If it’s that hot, maybe I should stick to beaches and chill spots instead of trying to hike or do too much outdoors.
Also, if you’ve been what are some things you really enjoyed doing there???
Not just the typical top 10 tourist lists, but the stuff that actually felt fun or special to you.
Local food, hidden beaches, coastal drives, cool cafes, anything like that.
Still deciding whether to stay near Jeju City or Seogwipo.
I’m thinking of renting a car to make things easier.
Thanks in advance!
