Contestants on The Next Food Network Star SUCK at cooking

I’ve been watching old seasons of The Next Food Network Star… what were they really trying to do with this show?

There are ZERO contestants who can actually cook. Bobby and Giada and Bob Tushman are literally repulsed by almost meal from every contestant.

At first I was feeling sad for the contestants. I was like dang, these judges are harsh.

But now that I’ve binged a few of the old seasons I see that the judges are just being honest and the food is TRASH 😭

I guess I’m just confused about what they were trying to do with this show lolol. Cause all they did was go out find people who legitimately can’t cook
