GR3X now, or GR4 later?

I've been milling over whether or not to get the GR3 for the wider 28mm, knowing that'd I'd be cropping into 35mm and 50mm 80-90% of the time, or to commit and get the GR3X. Then I checked availability, and as of today, the GR3X is available new, but the GR3 is immediately not. This of course is to wind down into production of GR4 to replace the 3.

Now, I understand that we do not have the GR4 in hand, but we do have specs. Given my use case which I laid out above, and as someone who owns nothing in the GR series, what do YOU think I should do? Get a second hand 3? Get a new 3X? Wait for the 4, hoping that retail is at/around GR3X pricing (unless pricing is confirmed somewhere.)
