Kashimos CT trait might not be lightning

I was just thinking, what if kashimos ct trait is actually to be similar to a simple domain, where it absorbs his CT to gain its properties like a domain expansion.

It would explain why his CT and trait are so similar, along with why he doesnt have a domain expansion: cause his CT nature absorbs his ct before a barrier can.

I feel like that would be a better explaination than the strongest sorcerer of an era not knowing domain expansion.
