How I improved my score 9 points in 6 weeks

I have been studying for about 8 months now. I want to take the test in August so I have been pushing really hard these last couple of months. I take practice tests very often and try to average my score so that one outlier doesn’t make me feel too bad or good. I have been able to improve my average score about 6-8 points since late May. Here how I did it:

  1. I grind. I study about 3 hours a day on weekdays and 5 hours a day on weekends. I don’t go out and I make sure to sleep enough to be ready.
  2. I finally bought the book. I bought the Kaplan book with 5k questions and 180 drills so I had ample material to study.
  3. I started wrong answer journaling. I use wronganswerjournal.com’s premium version to save time, but you don’t have to. I don’t know how to use Google slides well so if you are like me that part is free. I got premium because, being able to scan questions in and then retest on them later is HUGE for correcting mistakes. Trust me on this one.
  4. I study with a friend. I sometimes take practice tests with a friend so I can identify incorrect reasoning in real time. It’s awesome for thinking out loud and getting to refine your thought process

Good luck to you all. I hope we can all kill it this cycle.
