Need advice before I crash out! Ghoster came back.

Help! My ghoster came back after a week. We been In a situationship for 4-5 months. I seen him the day before he ghosted me, gave him his birthday gift and cooked him a birthday breakfast because I spent the night while he worked his over night shift. After he came home, things were fine. He had to sleep and I had plans with my cousins. When he woke up, things were normal. The next morning, he asked me what my plans were for the day. Told him I was thinking of going to the beach, and asked him if he wanted to come, come. If not, no worries bc he got off his overnight shift and didn’t want to force it. He asked me if I had a problem. I said no? Why would I have a problem? He ignored the text message and posted on social media, basically acting like I didnt just ask him a question. The next day was his birthday… I had enough respect for myself to not look at his stories or text him happy birthday bc I already did the whole birthday thing for him two days prior and I’m not about to let somebody feel empowered by ignoring me. He still continued to post on instagram. 4 days later, here is is texting me “welpp, I guess it was fun while it lasted lol” is this a trap???? I was so sad these last few days. I’m not a women who chases a man. He made it clear he didn’t want to respond so I didn’t want to embarrass myself bc him ignoring my text message and posting on instagram wasn’t the first time this happened and it hurts. I shouldn’t respond right?
