ASN delivery will be refused

What happens to an ASN delivery that’s scheduled for Saturday. I wrote the order today and after I got home I got a text that they will not accept the delivery because of inventory. The next scheduled delivery won’t be until Wednesday. Can I just refuse it to my inventory? Someone at the plant told me it has to be delivered.
