How to get heat pump for cheap / get all the rebates and such

It seems confusing.

I want to get a heat pump but have no idea where to start.

Im not made of money but think we could theoretically save some money in the long run. But I need to figure out how to get one for a good price / take advantage of all the rebates and whatever to see if it's affordable for us.

Anyone have a clear explanation of how to do it / is there a tool online somewhere to price it out?

Thanks!
