Em is my favorite rapper, today I realized his style is extremely unique

I’ve listened to em since he came out, and got hooked the second I heard “Hi, my name is” in 99’ . But today just having a random adhd thought then playing ”Saying goodbye to Hollywood” I realized .. his style is super unique and not really categorized hip hop or rap. I used to argue his skill all the time as a kid because the “gangsta” kids thought he wasn’t good because they couldn’t relate (like they could relate to Dipset, DBlock, & G-Unit selling bricks and shooting enemies (opps wasn’t a thing yet )). But today I finally realized, this guy is so fucking unique, to me that’s what makes it interesting to listen to. Rant over
