Touring the Yellowhead Jasper -> Edmonton

We are popping over to Edmonton from BC at the end of July. We are looking at places to experience on the Yellowhead between JASPER and EDMONTON. We've road tripped across the country dozens of times, but only once on Hwy16. (that is, we've spent time in the Park a lot and won't be travelling down Hwy 93)

We are open to any suggestions. We are outdoorsy campers and hikers and also love a good historic site or museum. We only have a few hours to kill though (no time for big hikes).

Great burger or pizza joints welcome as well.
