It's your mental health, and it's everyone else's health. Give it a try.

Crappy Owners

I did it. I call the police on my neighbor with their frequently barking dogs, including in the middle of the night, that have roamed free through the neighborhood again tonight after doing it so many times before, including to chase me when I used to deliver newspapers and was assigned their very house.

A kind officer took me seriously on the phone and visited the house. It turns out that the folks have a hole in their fence... still? They were issued a warning, the only warning, and were told that one more violation would get them in trouble due to violating leash laws. The officer even called me after he drove away and told me sincerely to reach out if this happens again.

This is not every experience, but it's far from impossible. Please, keep trying. You're doing the right thing and met with stupid people. Other people don't have the decency you have to use your voice. Give it a try.
