Was my coworker trying to get my number?

I have a coworker (38M) that’s nice/friendly to everyone (and married). We’ve worked together for 2 years. He and I were chatting and he wanted to show me a funny video and said, “I’d text you the link but I don’t have your number”. I ended up giving him my phone and he looked up the video so we could watch it. Our chats have never been flirty, so I don’t think he was trying to get my number in a romantic kind of way, but maybe more of a social/friendly kind of way?
