is table saw a must for hardwood flooring job?

Folks, I'm thinking of DIY-ing hardwood flooring. I have experience DIY-ing projects around the house but have never done flooring or woodworking. I bought a miter saw and a circular saw.

1. Can I rip boards lengthwise with the circular saw or is that going to be a PITA?

2. If I really should get a table saw, will something like this suffice?
