F-opt payroll and SSN.

So i am on my f1-opt employed and i had a few questions regarding my SSN and payroll. I have an old bank account which i opened with my i-20 documentation. At that time i had no socials.

So my question is, now that i do have SSN, do i need to put that in my account in order to rightfully receive my salary via direct deposits from my employer?

Are there any additional documentations that i need to provide to avoid tax withholding??
