Tagged “in progress” because I would eventually like to get the inside of my arm done because the inside always feels “blank” in comparison. The top of my arm is mainly the Venus de Milo and my shoulder (hard to see/show) is the victory of Nike. I liked the image of two strong women figures that are both broken and beautiful. It was meant to not be defined by the pieces of ourselves we lose along the way. My forearm is Persephone, goddess of spring and queen of hell. I wanted her to be lively to contrast against the “dead” statues. I enjoy duality lol. I would like to eventually add more inside my arm, but I’m not sure the direction to go in. Part of me wants to mirror her more in her role as Queen, or feature hades in his own paradox - or perhaps just lean more into the flowers since this is an area that doesn’t get a lot of attention. Perhaps just overgrown flowers amongst columns. Just curious to others thoughts and an opportunity to share with people who appreciate the artistry.
