Boston floor refinish cost, is $5.5 per sq ft reasonable?

We got quoted $16K to refinish red oak floors. This includes ~2200 sq ft of floors, 28 flights of stairs, 6 stair posts and 48 ft of railings. 2 coats of red out, 2 coats of bona seal, and 2 coats of bona waterbased traffic HD. It averages to about $5.5 per sq ft, subtracting the stairs and posts/railings.

Any commentary on this or reference cost for Boston area would be greatly appreciated!
