Hybrid Changeup Advice

I have a small time job where I work hybrid. Unlike most people pissed about RTO, mine is built into my contract terms…so I feel like I have some leverage here.

One of my coworker works and does a lot of things for the company but recently does 1 week of remote now per month because she needs to see her bf who lives in another area.

I told my bosses I would do hybrid per my contract when they asked me if I may be able to come in more…

They didn’t seem to mind but they said they didn’t want the other office worker to be in office by himself. I told them I’d be communicative online with said coworker and they wouldn’t be by themselves 🤷‍♂️

What would you do in my situation?
