Does my marriage certificate have to be signed by a judge or is self-solemnizing okay?
We can take our marriage certificate and have a judge sign it, but we’re not having a ceremony because our families are not in the state. However, the clerk said we can sign it ourselves and to return it for recording. Then that means it’s valid marriage right? Does mine have to be signed by a judge to be able to count for legal purposes? Thanks!:)
