Upgrade CPU, GPU, or neither?

Hi all,

I'm wondering if I should upgrade my CPU or GPU from my current system, which is:

• AMD RYZEN 7600X
• NVIDIA RTX 3080
• 64 GB RAM
• Storage includes NVMe and SSDs

I do both gaming and productivity workflows including 1440p and VR games across FPS and sim titles, as well as video editing and playing around with local LLM models.

I'm considering either bumping up my CPU from a 7600X to a 7800X3D, or upgrading from a 3080 to a 5070 Ti. The CPU upgrade would help with intensive games like MSFS and editing, while the GPU would greatly benefit VR and AI by increasing from 10 to 16 GB VRAM.

Does it make sense to splurge for the 5070 Ti, or do the cheaper CPU upgrade? Thanks, and happy to provide more info as needed.
